Positioning your iPhone correctly in the aircraft is very important to ensure optimal GPS reception, maintain canopy and instrument visibility ! We recommend the use of a car holder with associated charger for use with AIRPROX. ACFT on your iPhone.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

This app is designed for pilots flying VFR and should not be used in a commercial plane as it is against regulations.

Note from the developper : Airplane mode should not be turned on. This mode is designed to comply with commercial airline regulation by cutting off all radio communications and GPS. GPS and comms are needed by AIRPROX. ACFT in order to work !
